The Future

Naiad Errant now shares her time between the moorings of her joint owners Sandy Evans and John Richards - both on the Thames near Chertsey - who take it in turns to skipper her to the various rallies and events that she attends.

Old wooden boats are expensive to maintain, but following her restoration, and with the correct care and upkeep, Naiad Errant should last for a good while yet.

All the Dunkirk 'little ships' are powerful symbols of our deliverance from Nazi occupation and oppression.
By keeping alive the story of Dunkirk they honour the many sacrifices made for us at that time.
